J.D. Ressetar

J.D. Ressetar joined Zimmerman, Zimmerman, Cotner, LeJeune and Villarrial, P.C. in 2009. He graduated Baylor Law School and joined the State Bar of Texas in 2009, and now focuses his practice on personal injury.

Mr. Ressetar graduated from Texas Christian University with a B.B.A. in accounting and finance. In addition to Mr. Ressetar's undergraduate education, he received the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2004. The CFA designation is a globally accepted distinction of investment professionals.

Mr. Ressetar brings over ten years of diverse work experience to the firm. Following his undergraduate education, he joined Corbin & Company Capital Management as an associate performing investment analysis and business management. After two years with Corbin & Company, Mr. Ressetar joined The DAIS Group, an investment consulting firm located in New York City. As an associate, he worked on complicated investment transactions. Due to the events of September 11, 2001, he moved from New York City to Denver to join Employee Benefit Design. Employee Benefit Design is a boutique insurance consulting firm that specializes in insurance and the employee benefits market.

Mr. Ressetar grew up in Littleton, Colorado, and enjoys sports: particularly snow skiing, golf, tennis and fly fishing. Mr. Ressetar and his wife, Chelsa, married in 2004. They have twin daughters born in 2008.
